Overview

We recognize the need for fruits to be stored in optimal conditions to keep them fresh and robust.  This is made possible through our use of sophisticated systems that are able to maintain precise storage conditions.  Our cold-store has been operational since the year 2000.  We believe that our cold-store provides the finest conditions to store fruits, vegetables, or any other product that requires storage at precise temperatures.

Capabilities

• Consists of 55 rooms including 36 with a capacity of 16,000 metric tons working as chillers and 14 multipurpose rooms with 6,000 metric tons of chiller or 8,000 metric tons of  freezer capacity.
• Total capacity for chiller product storage is 22,000 metric tons while there is total freezer capacity of 8,000 metric tons.
• The maximum storage capacity of both chiller and freezer products is 24,000 metric tons.
• A separate section has been used exclusively for storing and ripening bananas.  A state-of-the-art control system has been used to keep the temperatures with a range of 0.1°C of optimal.
